War and chaos reign across the globe. In Europe, the War of Spanish Succession continues as a bloody stalemate between the Great Powers of Europe. In North America, Queen Anne’s War rages as the British Empire and the combined forces of France and Spain fight for naval and land supremacy across the continent. As a result of this chaos, piracy has become rampant across the Caribbean and North Atlantic. In the Bahamas, many powerful pirate captains have banded together to form the Republic of Pirates, posing a formidable danger to French and Spanish shipping and a looming threat to Britain’s maritime commerce and colonial holdings. You must work together to secure the British Empire’s colonies from its enemies and establish Britain as the world’s preeminent naval and commercial power. Will Britannia rule the waves? Or will the pirates expand their reign of terror on the high seas?
