The Kingdom of Hyrule was a peaceful land ruled by different tribes under the command of the King of Hyrule. One evening, the news of an impending catastrophe broke out: the rise of Calamity Ganon, a formidable and evil force that has amassed a dark army and therefore plunging Hyrule into an era of chaos and uncertainty. Blessed with the sacred sealing power, Princess Zelda embarks on a quest to awaken her abilities. Alongside her, the Champions — skilled warriors from different tribes from across the Kingdom, who play the pivotal role of piloting a Divine Beast, a mechanical construct designed to counter the impending calamity as uncovered by the Sheikah Tribe — rally to thwart the impending doom. Zelda collaborates with the Sheikah researchers, including the wise Impa and the geniuses Purah and Robbie, in unlocking the secrets of this ancient technology. However, the nefarious Yiga Clan, sworn enemies of the Sheikah and loyal to Calamity Ganon, poses a constant threat, seeking to undermine Zelda's efforts and sow discord. Despite the Champion’s efforts, their destiny has been written and they all are meant to meet their demise to the calamity as the Divine Beasts were sabotaged by the evils of the calamity. Yet, knowing how the war is supposed to end, their descendants from 100 years later travel back to warn their Champions and rewrite the destiny of Hyrule before it is too late. Will the combined efforts of Zelda, the Champions, the Sheikah Tribe, and the descendants be enough to change the course of history and prevent the calamity that awaits Hyrule? The Age of Calamity unfolds, and the answers lie within the hearts of those who dare to confront destiny.
