About CTMUN

The Central Texas Model United Nations (CTMUN) organization is a 501(c)-3 Non-Profit Organization managed by a volunteer board of directors. CTMUN hosts fall and spring conferences for high school delegates. The Fall conference is a three-day conference that offers standard and crisis committees. The Spring conference is a one-day conference that offers exclusively crisis committees. While competing in MUN, delegates get to debate real-world issues pertinent to our times. Delegates will learn consensus-building, and public speaking, and become more engaged in current events as they compete to become the best delegate.CTMUN is staffed by college student volunteers part of the CTMUN student organization at the University of Texas at Austin campus. TexMUN is a traveling team that represents the University of Texas at Austin at international Model UN competitions.
