It is October 16th, 1978, and the Cardinals of the Vatican are convening to choose the next Pope. Our last Pope, John Paul I, tragically passed away only 33 days into his legacy and although we are in mourning, we must continue. We will dive headfirst into the Anni di Piombo (Years of Lead) during great political instability in Italy from the late 1960s to the late 1980s. Specifically centered around The Vatican, we will explore the multifaceted workings of the modern Italian Mafia as they deal with the government, the church, international relations, and potential business deals. We will uncover the greatest scandals and secrets that ensued during this period and everyone will need to decide whether to stay loyal to their people or pursue justice. In this advanced crisis committee, we will work to find the truth within a decade of mystery based on true events in Italian politics. Who will uncover the truth and who will survive?
